Sang joined Plenary Funds Management as Senior Adviser in January 2022 assisting with PFM’s initiatives in collaborating with the Korean market.

Sang Hong specialises in major infrastructure projects in Australia and Asia with extensive experience with Korean Federal and Regional governments and major corporations. Sang has worked in many jurisdictions advising major Korean and Australian conglomerates. In more recent years, Sang has guided IFM Investors’ entry into Korea and has significantly contributed to multiple successful fundraising campaigns.

Prior to his recent advisory roles, Sang worked for a number of tier one law firms specialising in major infrastructure projects in Australia and Asia. He has extensive experience with Korean Federal and Regional governments and has worked in many jurisdictions advising major Korean and Australian conglomerates.

Sang is fanatical about many sports, both participating in and watching live, so much so that he regularly travels interstate to watch his AFL football team. In another life, he would choose to be either a professional golfer or a major league baseball player. He is also a lover of food and will travel overseas to try different types of cuisine. He cannot wait to have a family vacation overseas and tick off more from his bucket list involving sport and food.
