Paul Oppenheim

Paul was Plenary CEO from establishment in 2004 to 2019 and joined Plenary Funds Management at its 2021 inception as chair.

He is a director of both the Asia Pacific and North American Plenary businesses, and sits on the board of the Sydney Metro public-private partnership.

Paul has been directly responsible for structuring, negotiating and executing a number of significant PPP transactions in Australia, helping to create the largest dedicated PPP business in Australia and to establish Plenary’s North America operations.

Paul previously worked for nine years at ABN AMRO in the infrastructure capital team, including as the head of the group.

Prior to ABN AMRO, Paul worked at KPMG in the audit and advisory division.

Paul is a director of SCEGGS Darlinghurst and the Belvoir Theatre and sits on the Advisory Council for the University of Wollongong SMART Infrastructure Facility.

Paul enjoys golf, tennis and spending time with his wife and four children.
